Our approach is inspired by the slow food and craft beverage movements and we aim to serve affordable meals that are good for the stomach, good for the soul and good for the mind. We want everyone to enjoy premium quality ingredients of “United Tastes” through Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dessert or Snack. We make “Hands on Food” alongside our exclusive barrel poured craft beers, fine wine selections, specialty cocktails and lemonades. Ashwani Dhwan – Co-Owner
Ashwani’s ideals started from his youth in the sleepy Himalayan town of Shimla, India. Those early day learnings combined with his journey as a Silicon Valley technology entrepreneur lead him to another passion – creating a new food and beverage movement. Knowledge through his past lives at General Electric, IBM and four other technology start-ups, Ashwani learned that nothing is impossible. With that in mind, he moved his passion to food and opened the first iconic California Indian Mantra restaurant in Palo Alto. Never standing still, his next venture with partner Neeraj Dewan was Slider Bar Café where the start of his food movement began its origins. Ashwani shares his dream with his wife Amita Dhawan and his two daughters who inspire him everyday for new recipes and goodness!
